EASTON, Pa. – Student-athletes and coaches from the Lafayette football program will be participating in National Read Across America Day on Thursday in three Easton-area Elementary schools.

Seventy student-athletes, representing the entire football roster, and the entire coaching staff will participate in the nationwide reading celebration sponsored by the National Education Association. The event is held annually on March 2, Dr. Seuss’ birthday.

Lafayette football will be traveling to Forks Elementary (9:30 a.m.), Tracy Elementary (9:30 a.m.) and Paxinosa Elementary (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.) schools on Thursday.
