First touch
* The Leopards will play Patriot League game number six on Saturday night when they head to Ulrich Sports Complex in Bethlehem to take on rival Lehigh under the lights. The two teams are currently tied for 7th place in the league standings with four games remaining.
* Lafayette and Lehigh have played fairly level since 2010 with each team winning four contests. The Mountain Hawks won 2-0 at Mike Bourger'44 Field at Oaks Stadium in 2017. The most recent Leopards victory was a 1-0 double overtime win at Lehigh in the quarterfinal round of the 2016 Patriot League tournament.
* The two teams are in similar positions as they make a final push to qualify for the postseason. Since the field expanded to six teams in 2013, a team typically needs to 9 or 10 points to make the cut. Lafayette finishes their slate with three teams that they are battling for a spot (Lehigh, American and Loyola) plus a home contest with third place Navy.
* Lafayette senior forward Alex Stanford is fifth in the Patriot League in points (11) and tied for third in goals (5). Senior Katie Brannigan and freshman Sophia Hudson are both in the Patriot League top ten in assists with four and three, respectively.
* Lafayette was picked to finish seventh in the Patriot League, two positions behind Lehigh, in the annual preseason poll of coaches and sports information directors. In games involving identical opponents, both teams have lost to Army, Boston U. and Colgate. In August, Lafayette defeated Villanova 1-0 while Lehigh lost 4-0 to the Wildcats.
