Men’s Lax Introduces 11 as Class of 2022

Newest Leopards were welcomed earlier this fall on College Hill

EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette men's lacrosse program introduced 11 incoming members this fall as part of the Lafayette Class of 2022. The newest Leopards have already hit the ground running and will be an integral piece of the program for the next four seasons.

Jameson Waldron (6-1, 185 | Defense | Summit | Summit, N.J.):
Played three years of lacrosse at LSM and defense, winning a Group 2 State Championship…selected as first-team all-conference and second-team all-state as a senior and third-team all-state and third-team all-conference as a junior…son of Sharon and Peter Waldron…has an older brother, Kyle and a younger sister, Lilly…mother swam at Delaware…father played football at Lycoming…brother played lacrosse at Manhattan…grandfather played baseball at Lehigh.

George Enman (5-9, 160 | Attack | The Pingry School | Summit, N.J.):
Played four years of both lacrosse and hockey, winning four state championships in lacrosse and scoring 194 points in his career…named the team's Offensive MVP twice and finished as the school's all-time leader in career points…served as the Head of the Student Activities Club…has an older brother, Matt…son of Carolyn and Mark Enman…father played lacrosse at Lafayette as part of the Class of 1984.

Reid Kagan (5-11, 165 | Attack | Ridgefield | Ridgefield, Conn.):
Was a three-year starter in lacrosse and also played four years of soccer…his lacrosse team was ranked as high as No. 13 in the nation his senior year, winning a Connecticut State Championship…registered 165 points in his career with 100 goals and 65 assists…was an All-FCIAC selection twice and ranked as a Top-150 player in the tri-state area by Joe Lombardi…recipient of the Tiger Pride Award for outstanding effort and leadership on a soccer team that captured a 2017 regular season FCIAC championship…earned 12 straight high honor/honor roll quarters with a 4.5 cumulative grade-point average…named an FCIAC Athlete of the Month, an AP Scholar with Distinction and was given the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award in Business…member of the Future Business Leaders of America, captain of Ridgefield SafeRides and Vice President of the Lion's Heart Community Service organization…has an older brother, Benjamin and a younger sister, Ella…son of Abigail Cahill Kagan and Joshua Kagan.

Sam Kirby (6-2, 160 | Midfield | Madison | Morristown, N.J.):
Played two years of lacrosse and two years of football…part of a NJ Group 1 State Championship in lacrosse in 2017…recipient of the Madison High Coaches' Award…was on the honor roll for two years and made the Dean's List...son of Karen and Jeff Kirby, both Lafayette graduates…has two older brothers, Morgan and Walker, and an older sister, Jane, who plays on Lafayette's women's lacrosse team…brother, Morgan, played lacrosse at Duke…brother, Walker, played lacrosse at Harvard.

Ryan Kirkwood (5-10, 158 | Midfield | St. Peter's Prep | Millburn, N.J.):
Played four years of lacrosse in the midfield, scoring 96 goals and 82 assists for 178 career points…won a conference championship in 2016 and 2018…named the Conference Player of the Year as a senior, while earning first-team all-conference honors his junior and senior seasons…was second-team all-conference as a sophomore and named to the All-Non Public Team his final two seasons…was the team captain and team MVP his junior and senior years…rebuilt homes and socialized with those in need in West Virginia as part of an Immersion Trip during his junior year…son of Ellen and Eugene Kirkwood…has an older sister, Brighid and an older brother, Connor…his uncle, Kevin, played lacrosse at Loyola and his other two uncles, Brian and Mike, played lacrosse at Providence…father and brother both played lacrosse at Scranton.

Cole Dutton (6-1, 185 | Midfield | Garden City | Garden City, N.Y.):
Played three years of lacrosse and three years of football…his lacrosse team went 48-9 during his career, winning two LIC championships and a state championship…his football team went 33-1 with two LIC championships…was the leading scorer in the midfield for his team as a senior, earning All-Country honorable mention laurels…a four-year honor roll member…son of Gina and James Dutton…has an older brother, James.

Christian Park (5-7, 175 | Midfield/Faceoff | Stone Bridge | Ashburn, Va.):
Was a four-year starter in lacrosse in the midfield and at the faceoff X…held a 75 percent faceoff winning percentage and won a state championship in 2015…was an all-conference honoree three times, an all-region honoree twice and an all-state honoree once…son of Natalie and John Park…has two younger brothers, Evan and Preston.

Alex Molto (6-4, 207 | Defense | Hunterdon Central | Stockton, N.J.):
Played three years of lacrosse, three years of football and two years of basketball…was a lacrosse county champion in 2017 and won county and sectional championships in basketball in 2017…was a lacrosse team captain his senior year…member of the honor roll all four years and won a Scholar-Athlete award in football…served as the Vice President of the Connect Club, the largest club at his school in charge of holding events for special needs students…member of the National Honors Society and the Spanish Honors Society…selected by his teachers to be in Teen Pep as well as work as a Peer Mediator, educating students and helping to resolve student issues…son of Jennifer Beresh…has a younger brother, Eric…has two cousins, Todd and Jeff Frazier, who played baseball at Rutgers and played professionally for the Reds, White Sox and Yankees, and the Nationals and Mariners, respectively.

Played four years of lacrosse and three years of soccer…won three lacrosse district championships…was a captain in his senior lacrosse season and named first-team all-district and all-region his junior year…was also a second-team all-district honoree as a sophomore…was an Oxbridge Lacrosse Camp Counselor for three years and participated in a Food for the Poor Mission Trip to Nicaragua as a sophomore…was an Oxbridge Senior Peer Mentor…volunteered with the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens Annual Festival of Trees for three years and with the Palm Beach Day Bulldog Sports Camp for two years…son of Regan and John Rupp…has a younger brother, Sebastian and an older sister, Alexis.
