Women's Soccer Hosts American on Saturday

Leopards are 4-1-1 in their last six games

* The Leopards enter the Saturday afternoon contest against American with a 4-1-1 record in their last six games and are 2-1-1 in the Patriot League. The Eagles earned a 1-0 overtime victory over UMBC on Wednesday on a goal from sophomore midfielder Juliana Saling. In their most recent league match, American drew 1-1 against Holy Cross.

* Krista Kissell earned her second Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week honor following her overtime game-winning goal at Colgate. It was the first-ever victory in Hamilton, N.Y. for the Leopards. Kissell joins Rebecca Schreiner, Sophie Saldivar and Caitlin Balmer as weekly award honorees so far this season. The team total of five is one shy of the team-record six weekly awards received in 2011.

* American is still in search of their first PL win of the 2019 season. Through four league games the Eagles have tied Holy Cross and Colgate and lost to Boston U. and Loyola. Lafayette owns wins over Colgate and Lehigh, recorded a tie at Navy and lost their league opener to Bucknell.

* Nine different Leopards have scored this season with Kissell and Saldivar registering four goals apiece. Freshman Sara Oswald became the latest to join the list when she picked up her first collegiate goal in the first half of the win at Colgate.
