The Match-Up: Lafayette has won three straight coming into Saturday's Senior Day matchup versus Colgate which has won three of its last four games. Kick off is set for 12:40 p.m. on Military Appreciation Day.
Patriot League Path: With two conference contests remaining, Lafayette controls its Patriot League destiny. Lafayette and Holy Cross are tied for first place in the standings with 3-1 marks while Lehigh (3-2) and Bucknell (2-2) are in third and fourth places, respectively.
A Lafayette win coupled with a Holy Cross loss to Fordham would guarantee Lafayette at least a share of the Patriot League regular-season title.
Streaking: Lafayette's three-game winning streak is the first of that length since the start of the 2012. The last time Lafayette won three or four straight conference games was 2009.Â
Thrice is Nice: The Leopards claimed three of the four Patriot League weekly awards as freshman QB
Keegan Shoemaker was named the Offensive Player and Rookie of the Week while junior PK
Jeffrey Kordenbrock was tabbed as the Special Teams Player of the Week.Â
Shoemaker has been the Patriot League Rookie of the week four times and the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week on three occasions. All told, Lafayette has secured the Patriot League Rookie of the Week award six times this season with LB
Marco Olivas and DL
Damon Washington also winning.
Rice Award Watch List: Keegan Shoemaker has been named to the STATS FCS Jerry Rice Award Watch List. The award, named after the Hall of Fame wide receiver, has been presented to the top FCS freshman since 2011. Soph. DE
Malik Hamm was on the watch list in 2018. Â
Kordenbrock Getting His Kicks: On a day when temperatures barely broke freezing at Fitton Field, junior PK
Jeffrey Kordenbrock recorded the first three field-goal game of his career. Kordenbrock hit field goals of 32, 31 and 40 yards and added two PATs to account for 11 of Lafayette's 23 points. For the season, Kordenbrock is 10-of-13 — 4-for-4 on kicks of 30-39 yards and 4-6 on kicks of 40-49 yards.Â
Fitton Field was the scene of Kordenbrock's game-winning field goal on Sept. 30, 2017 when he connected for a 43-yarder to hand Lafayette a 10-7 win.

Keegan Shoemaker hit
Julian Spigner for a 48-yard TD on a four-play scoring drive over 1:12. The second scoring drive was even quicker (fastest of the season) as Shoemaker dialed up
Julius Young for a 34-yard connection that capped a two-play drive, taking just 41 seconds.
