Nicole Johnson's shot at the buzzer that would secure the victory for the Leopards. They head into this afternoon's game with a 5-6 overall record.

Natalie Kucowski recorded her ninth double double of the season in Thursday's game putting up 23 points and 23 rebounds. Her 23 rebounds were a career-high for the junior and moved her into fourth all-time on the Lafayette all-time career rebounding list.
*Bucknell leads the all-time series, winning the last 10 meetings. The last time the Leopards defeated the Bison was on Feb. 5, 2014 by a 87-64 final.
THE LAST MEETING
The Bison won the last meeting between these two squads, 75-43, last season on Feb. 9.
The Bison shot 62 percent in the opening 10 minutes of the game to jump out to a 16-point lead after the first quarter. The Leopards went on a 7-9 run midway through the third quarter, outscoring Bucknell, 16-13, in the frame but it wouldn't be enough to complete a comeback win.
Kucowski led the way for the Maroon and White with nine points and 11 rebounds. Off the bench,
Jiselle Havas scored nine and
Olivia Martino had eight.
SCOUTING THE BISON
Led this season by new head coach Trevor Woodruff, Bucknell comes into this afternoon's game holding an 8-4 overall record and a 1-0 Patriot League record, after defeating Army, 63-52, in their league opener on Thursday.
The Bison graduated their top scorer from last season in Kaitlyn Slagur but return their second leading scorer Ellie Mack. Mack is averaging 14.3 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game so far this season.
CHASING HISTORY
Kucowski's 23 rebounds on Thursday night puts her career rebounding total at 804 and moves her into fourth all-time on the Lafayette career rebounds list, passing Dana Wolfe. She stands only nine away from moving into third all-time.
At the start of the season Kucowski stood at 11th all-time and through the Leopards eleven games this season, she has moved up seven spots.
SINGLE SEASON RECORD
Kucowski's 23 rebounds on Thursday tied the Lafayette single game record for the most rebounds in a game, a record that was previously set by Lenora Jackson in 1980.
AT THE TOP
After her career-high performance on Thursday, Kucowski is now ranked first in the nation in two separate categories. The junior is first in the nation in rebounds per game (13.8) and defensive rebounds per game (9.8). She is also in the top-10 in the nation in double doubles (9.0) and rebounds (152.0) and top-50 in blocked shots per game (2.55), offensive rebounds per game (4.0) and blocked shots (28.0).
She is first in the league in blocked shots per game, rebounds per game, double doubles, offensive rebounds per game, defensive rebounds per game, blocked shots and rebounds.
IT'S BEEN A FEW YEARS
The last time Lafayette opened up Patriot League action with a win was during the 2014-15 season when they defeated Army to start Patriot League play.
