SCOUTING THE EAGLES
American comes to Kirby coming off a one-point victory over Boston University on Saturday, 55-54. Sophomore
Jade Edwards led the Eagles in the game putting up 15 points and pulling down 12 rebounds to mark her second consecutive double double and fourth of the season. The win brought the Eagles Patriot League record to 7-8 and their overall record to 11-14.
Edwards leads the Eagles in points (4.6 per game), rebounds (7.0 per game) and blocks (0.8 per game).
American is second in the league, right behind Lafayette, in blocked shots averaging 4.4 per game.
REBOUNDING QUEEN
On Jan. 8, junior
Natalie Kucowski pulled down 12 rebounds pushing her career rebounding total to 856, making her the program's all-time leading rebounder.
On Wednesday against Loyola, Kucowski pulled down 10 boards to put her career total at 972 - 28 away from 1,000 career rebounds.
When she hits 1,000 career rebounds, she will be the first in program history to have recorded 1,000 career rebounds and 1,000 career points.

Natalie Kucowski eclipsed the 1,000 point mark, making her the 19th player in program history to hit the milestone.
Her 21 points on Saturday puts her scoring total at 1,133 and keeps her at 14th all-time in program history.

Wednesday's game marks Lafayette's annual Team Takeover event. Introduced during the 2018-19 season, Team Takeover serves to feature the personalities of the team through the use of nicknames and personalized content throughout the day.
In addition to each player wearing a warm-up with his nickname on the back, all content for Team Takeover, including videoboard materials, public address announcements, social media graphics, etc., will feature the nicknames throughout the contest. Bitmoji's, cartoon caricatures often used in mobile messaging, will also be incorporated, while all of the in-arena music will be hand-selected by members of the team, including timeouts with videoboard content associated with chosen songs.
