Match-Up:Â Lafayette opens Patriot League play with a home-and-home series with Bucknell on Saturday and Sunday. The Leopards and Bison will play a doubleheader in Lewisburg, Pa. on Saturday and two games in Easton, Pa. on Sunday. Both days' action begins at 1 p.m. (for all of you late sleepers).

Last Time Out:Â Lafayette dropped both games of its home-opening doubleheader on Sunday, March 20 by identical scores of 11-2.
   In game one, Drexel led wire-to-wire, scoring two in the first, four in the second and five in the third. The Leopards were held to three hits, a double by
Grace Harvey and singles from
Natasha Miner and
Julia Roman. Â
    In game two, Lafayette led for more than half of the game, taking a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second.
Paige Grover (2-for-3) doubled and scored on Roman's single through the right side.
Bailey Langford (2-for-3) then plated Roman for the 2-0 advantage.
    In the fifth, Drexel (6-0) took its first lead of the game, 3-2, before scoring three unearned runs in the sixth and five runs in the top of the seventh to pull away. Â
In the Box:Â Junior
Julia Roman leads the Leopards in hitting four games into the season. Roman has four hits and four RBI having started every game in the outfield.
Paige Grover is checking in with a .429 average and has scored four runs this season while hitting from the middle of the lineup. Â
Next Up: Next Up: Lafayette has a break on Easter weekend, as a series originally scheduled with Delaware State has been canceled. The Leopards next travel to Colgate in Hamilton, N.Y. on April 10-11 for a four-game Patriot League series. The teams are set for a noon start on both days.
