*Lafayette College women's soccer is coming off its first win of the season, 3-1, on the road against Colgate this past weekend. Boston University has won back-to-back games against Colgate and Holy Cross after falling to Army in its opener.

*In their most recent meeting in November 2019, the Leopards defeated the Terriers for the first time since Boston University joined the conference in 2013. The Terriers scored the opening goal in the 81th minute, but current Lafayette junior midfielder Riley Dowd equalized 55 seconds later and current senior midfielder Sophie Saldivar notched the game-winner in the 86th minute to help the Leopards lock their spot in the Patriot League tournament.

*Senior defender Camryn Monfort earned Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal against Colgate over the weekend. The Syosset, N.Y. native rifled a shot from outside the box that handed the Leopards a 2-1 lead and notched herself a second career goal.

*Senior midfielder Clare Mengel, sophomore forward Melissa Lamanna, and senior goalkeeper Maggie Pohl were honorable mentions for Patriot League weekly awards for their contributions against Colgate. Lamanna came off the bench to score for the second consecutive week, while Mengel tallied her first career point with an assist on the game-winning goal. Pohl made a save and didn't concede a goal in her 45 minutes of play, marking the second time in the three games this season that she has kept a clean sheet through her half of play.

*Freshman Emily Coe made her first start against Colgate. The start came after she earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week in the previous week when she assisted on Lafayette's first goal of the season against Holy Cross. The Glen Mills, Pa. native was the first Leopard women's soccer player to receive one of the conference's weekly honors this season.

*Lafayette plays its second consecutive home match next weekend at 6 p.m. against Army.
