EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette baseball team fell to Army on Sunday in the two squad's second doubleheader of the weekend, 1-6 in game one and 5-6 in game two.
The second game on Sunday went 11 innings, the first extra-inning game for the Leopards this season.
In game one Lafayette was led by freshman
Justin Grech and junior
Justin Johnson, who each totaled two hits. Sophomore
Seif Ingram had the lone RBI for the Leopards.

Nolan Morr went four innings, striking out five in his first collegiate start.
Grech also led the way for the Leopards in game two, totaling two hits and a team-high three runs. Sophomore
Pete Ciuffreda also totaled two hits and an RBI.

Kyle Subers went 5.0 innings, striking out five.
The Black Knights (11-11, 7-3 PL) got on the board first in the top of the third in game one, putting one run across the plate to make it 1-0. They then added two more in the top of the fourth.
Lafayette (4-8, 3-6 PL) got its first run of game one in the bottom of the fourth, after Hartey started off the inning with a double. He then advanced to third after junior
Dylan Minghini grounded out to the Black Knights shortstop and then come home on a single by Ingram to make it 3-1.
The Black Knights had the final say, adding two more in the top of the fifth and one more in the top of the seventh to bring the game one final to 6-1.
The Leopards struck first in game two, going up 2-0 in the top of the first after Grech started the inning off for the Leopards with a leadoff single. Hartey then singled, moving Grech to second and then a grounder by junior
Justin Johnson advanced both Hartey and Grech to put runners on second and third.
Ciuffreda singled to bring both Hartey and Grech across home plate and put the Leopards up 2-0.
Army scored its first run of the second game in the top of the third to cut the Leopards lead in half.
Lafayette added another run in the third to stretch the lead out to 3-1 before Army added another in the top of the fourth to pull back within one.
Grech started off the bottom of the fifth with a walk and then advanced to second on a steal. Johnson got on base after being hit by a pitch and then Ciuffreda walked to load the bases.
Minghini walked to bring Grech across the plate and then a single by Stern brought home Johnson to make it 5-2, Leopards.
The Black Knights added one more run in the top of the seventh to make it 5-3, then added two more in the top of the ninth to tie the game and send game two of the Sunday doubleheader into extra-innings.
Neither side could get a run across the plate in the 10
th inning but it was the Black Knights, in the top of the 11
th, who broke the tie to go up 6-5. Lafayette couldn't get a run of their own across the plate as Army took game two of the doubleheader, sweeping the weekend series.
Up next for Lafayette is a four-game weekend series with Navy. Games one and two will take place in Easton on Saturday while games three and four are set to take place in Annapolis, Maryland.
