EASTON, Pa. –Recent Lafayette College graduate and women's basketball student-athlete, Natalie Kucowski, has signed a professional contract with KP Brno in the Czech Republic.
 
"I am looking forward to this opportunity to continue to play basketball in the Czech Republic," Kucowski said. "I am excited for the challenge and the ability to continue to improve and contribute to the team."
 
Kucowski totaled 1,415 career points and 1,197 career rebounds over her four years on the court for the Leopards, becoming the programs all-time leading rebounder and the first player in program history to record both 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds. During the 2020-21 season she became the Patriot League's All-Time career rebounder and was named the league's Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and was an All-League First Team selection.
 
In April, the she became the first player in program history to be selected in the WNBA Draft when she was selected by the Seattle Storm in the third round of the 2021 Draft.
 
KP Brno is coming off a fourth place finish in regular season action during the 2020-21 season, finishing with a 12-6 overall record.
