PHILADELPHIA, Pa. The Lafayette fencing team returned to competition after its winter break on Saturday at the Philadelphia Invitational hosted by the University of Pennsylvania.
The Leopards men's and women's teams competed in matches against Duke, Haverford, Johns Hopkins, NJIT, North Carolina and NYU at the Quaker's Tse Center. The Lafayette men defeated Haverford 14-10, and the women also won over Haverford 20-7.

Bella Moger (sabre) led the Leopards with ten wins apiece, followed by nine victories from sophomore

Lafayette will be back in action on February 6 when they compete in a Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Fencing Association event at Johns Hopkins University.
