Baseball Set to Host 11th Annual First Pitch Dinner

Preseason dinner set for Marquis Hall on Feb. 4

EASTON, Pa. – The Friends of Lafayette Baseball will hold its 11th annual First Pitch dinner on Saturday, Feb. 4.

"We are very excited to once again host the First Pitch Dinner in person. This is a great way to kick off the season by bringing back families and alumni to celebrate what's to come in the 2023 season," said first-year Lafayette coach A.J. Miller. "This year, this dinner is a little extra special for the program as we are bringing back former Lafayette baseball head coach, Joe Kinney, as our guest speaker. Joe not only coached the current seniors on the team but was also my head coach during my time here on the hill. We are looking forward to a great night celebrating the Lafayette baseball program."

The evening will include of a preview of the upcoming 2023 season along with special guest speaker, Kinney, who led the Leopards from 2000 to 2020. The cost is $75 per person and the evening will get started at 5 p.m. with a cocktail reception and buffet dinner to follow at 6 p.m.

If you are interested in attending, you can RSVP here, and are asked to please do so no later than Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Any questions can be directed to A.J. Miller, at millera@lafayette.edu or (610) 330-5945.
