Baseball Announces 2024 Schedule

Leopards are slated to play 52 games

EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette head baseball coach A.J. Miller announced the team's 2024 schedule on Wednesday. The 52-game slate for the Maroon and White features 20 games at Kamine Stadium. 

"We are excited about our schedule this year.", said coach Miller. "We have a challenging series prior to conference play, but it will be a good test for this team to see where we stand for the remainder of the year. It will also be nice to play 20 home games this year."

The Leopards embark on their 2024 campaign traveling to Johnson City, Tenn., opening the season with a three-game set against East Tennessee State on Feb. 16-18. Lafayette will then travel to the West Coast for a four-game series with the Oregon Ducks on Feb. 23-25. The Maroon and White will return to Easton on Feb. 28 for their home opener versus Rider, and then the Leopards open the month of March by traveling to Delaware. On March 6, the Leopards host Manhattan and then spend their spring break on the road, as they journey to Wofford, Campbell, Richmond and Penn. On March 20, the Leopards will travel to play at Rutgers.

Patriot League play begins on March 22, when Lafayette hosts rival Lehigh for a four game-set.

The Leopards will once again compete in the Liberty Bell Classic, with game one slated for March 26 and game two slated for April 2. The championship is set for April 16 at Citizen's Bank Park.

Lafayette is on the road again, traveling to Navy for a three-game series that starts on March 30.

The Maroon and White return to Easton on April 6, playing host to Bucknell and then continue a nine-game homestand against Navy on April 7. The Leopards take a break from conference play, hosting St. Peter's for a mid-week game on April 10. Defending Patriot League champion Army comes to Easton for a three-game series starting on April 13. Lafayette closes out the homestand by playing Villanova for a single game on April 16, but remains in the Lehigh Valley, as it travels to rival Lehigh for a single game on Apr 17.

Lafayette hosts Holy Cross for a weekend series April 20-21, followed by a return trip to Jersey City, N.J. to take on St. Peter's. The Leopards finish the month of April with a three-game series at Bucknell.

Lafayette's regular season home finale on is May 1, when it plays host to Monmouth. The Leopards are on the road for the rest of the regular season, traveling to Holy Cross and Army.

The Patriot League Tournament semifinals are slated to begin on May 11, with the championship set for May 17.
