EASTON, Pa.- Three Lafayette field hockey student-athletes are participating in the 2023 Junior Pan American Games.

From April 10-18, eight men's and women's teams will compete in the Junior Pan American Championships at Bridgetown, Barbados. These games are opportunities for three spots for each gender to qualify for the upcoming 2023 FIH Junior World Cups.

Laine Delmotte '25 and Katie Gibb '27 are representing Canada on the U21 women's team while Leo Baumgardner '26 is representing USA on the U21 men's team.

Participating teams include Argentina, Canada, Chile, Guyana, Brazil (men only), Uruguay (women only), USA and Barbados. Both genders will see matches in two pools prior to the semi-finals and championship.
