Fragomeni Earns First Weekly Patriot League Award of 2025

Senior goalkeeper lauded for two shutouts in opening weekend

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lafayette's Raffi Fragomeni was voted as the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week on Monday afternoon.

The senior posted a pair of shutouts with a combined 13 saves in wins against Fairfield (5) and Drexel (8) to open the 2025 season at home. She additionally stopped a penalty stroke in each contest to hold both opponents scoreless during her 120 minutes of play.

The Patriot League field hockey players of the week are selected in a vote by League head coaches, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

Makenzie Switzer was selected as an honorable mention for her efforts this week. The senior defender recorded one defensive save and one assist against the Dragons.

The Leopards travel to Longwood on Friday at 3 p.m. as the first of three consecutive road trips.
