EASTON, Pa. -The Patriot League office announced Monday afternoon that junior attack, Charlie Cunniffe, and senior faceoff specialist, James Turco, earned Patriot League weekly honors.
 
Cunniffe was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week after scoring four goals and dishing out four assists in Lafayette's 14-13 overtime win against Bucknell on Friday. He reached 100 career points in the victory, with 52 goals and 52 assists.
 
Turco earned Faceoff Specialist of the Week nods after going 20-for-31 from the "x" and picking up 10 ground balls in the win over the Bison. This season, the senior is averaging 51.9 percent (68-for-131) in the faceoff circle.
 
Cunniffe and Turco's efforts not only guided the Leopards to victory, but also allowed the team to clinch a berth in the Patriot League Tournament for the first time since 2010.
 
The Leopards host No. 3 UVA on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
