Women's Soccer Sets 2023 Slate

The Leopards will play 16 matches in 2023

EASTON, Pa. -  The 2023 Lafayette women's soccer schedule was announced by head coach Mick Statham on Wednesday afternoon.

The Leopards embark on their 2023 campaign traveling to South Orange, N.J. to take on Seton Hall on Aug. 17.

The Maroon and White open their home slate on Aug. 20 when they host Mount St. Mary's for Community Day in the first game at newly completed Gummeson Grounds: Home of Mike Bourger '44 Field at Oaks Stadium. The Leopards travel to Stony Brook on Aug. 24 and then return home to face St. Joseph's on Aug. 31.
 
The month of September starts with Lafayette hitting the road for the next two matches, traveling to St. Peter's on Sept. 3, followed by a trip to Penn on Sept. 7.The Leopards close out non-conference play with a three-match homestand against Ivy League foe Princeton on Autism Awareness Day on Sept. 10. Patriot League play begins on Sept. 16 when Holy Cross travels to Easton. The homestand culminates when archrival Lehigh comes to town for the 2023 edition of the Rivalry on Sept. 20.

The Leopards travel to Baltimore, Md. on Sept. 23 to face Loyola.

Three of the next four matches for the Maroon and White are on College Hill. The Leopards host American on Sept. 30, followed by a trip to Boston, Mass. to take on Boston U. on Oct. 7.  They return home to host Army on Mental Health Awareness Day on Oct. 11 and then will celebrate Senior Day on Oct 14 with a match against Colgate.

The 2023 slate wraps up with consecutive road contests against Bucknell on Oct. 21 and Navy on Oct. 25.  The Patriot League Tournament is set to take place Oct. 29 through Nov. 5.
