EASTON, Pa. – Sophomore
Catherine Apker has been selected as the Patriot League Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week, it was announced on Monday afternoon.
Apker secured her third Goalkeeper of the Week honor after she started in goal for the Leopards and played the full 90 minutes. She recorded nine saves in Lafayette's 1-1 tie against Boston U. The Homer, N.Y. native also has registered six shutouts this season and has a .857 save percentage, leading the Patriot League in both categories. Apker also ranks first in the league in saves per game (5.45) and is third in the league in saves (60).
Next up, the Leopards (5-4-2, 2-1-2) will travel to Army on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. match.
