UPCOMING PROMOTIONS
   On Jan. 15, the women's basketball team hosts Army for its fifth annual School Day game. To kickoff February, the Leopards welcome Colgate to Easton for their Play4Kay/National Women and Girls in Sports game on Feb. 1. On Feb. 12,  American comes to town for Lafayette's Pride Game and Feb. 22 is Alumni Day versus Lehigh. Senior Day will take place on Mar. 1 against Boston U.
SCOUTING RUTGERS
   The Scarlet Knights have started the 2024-25 season with a 7-4 record, winning their last game 86-48 versus Wagner. Rutgers head coach Coquese Washington is in her third season at the helm.
   Wednesday marks the third meeting, between the Leopards and Scarlet Knights after Rutgers topped the Maroon and White 69-48 last season in Piscataway.  Â
   Kiyomi McMiller (24) and Destiny Adams (17) were the Scarlet Knights' leading scorers against Wagner, finishing with 24 and 17 points respectively. McMiller leads Rutgers in scoring, averaging 20.0 ppg and Adams is right behind her with 18.8 ppg.  Â
   The Scarlet Knights got some additional offensive production from JoJo Lacey (11 points) and Mya Petticord (10 points), who aided Rutgers in the comfortable victory. McMiller (10) and Adams (13) both grabbed double-digit rebounds and  finished with a double double. Rutgers shot 45.2 percent from the floor, 35.7 percent from beyond the arc and 71.4 percent from the charity stripe. McMiller ranks 21st in the country in scoring and Adams sits at 20th in the nation in rebounding.
LAST TIME OUT
   Sophomore forward
Tasha Chudy finished with a career-high 14 points in the Leopards' 60-47 loss to Dartmouth on Wednesday night at Kirby Sports Center. The Saratoga Springs, N.Y. native also drained a career-high seven field goals, while grabbing seven rebounds in 24 minutes.Â
1,000-POINT SCORER
   Program history was made on Dec. 1 in the team's game at Monmouth, as senior guard
Abby Antognoli eclipsed the 1,000 career points milestone with her fifth field goal (in the fourth quarter).
DAZZLING DONAHUE
   Junior guard
Kay Donahue is averaging 10.6 points per game, 4.6 rebounds per game and she leads the team in steals per game, averaging 1.2 per outing. In the team's games against No. 6 Notre Dame and NJIT, the Belle Mead, N.J. native notched a career high of 18 points and drained eight field goals against the Irish. Donahue's point and steal averages rank her 16th and 21st amongst her Patriot League foes, respectively.Â
MAKING HISTORY
   The Leopards' home contest vs. No. 6 Notre Dame (Nov. 17) was the first time Lafayette women's basketball hosted a nationally-ranked opponent within theÂ
Patriot League era.
UP NEXT
   Lafayette returns to the court for the first time in 2025 on Jan. 2 at 2 p.m. on the road at Boston U. to begin Patriot League play.
ANTOGNOLI AVERAGES
   On her way to her second consecutive All-Patriot League Third-Team selection, senior guard
Abby Antognoli was a focal point of the Leopards' offense last season. The Economics major averages a team-high 13.3 ppg, 4.8 rpg and 3.2 apg and is ranked sixth in the conference in assists and eighth in scoring. Â
JUNIOR DUO
   Junior guards
Kay Donahue and
Sauda Ntaconayigize have been constant threats from three-point range this season, shooting 25 and 33 percent respectively. Donahue has been a main option on offense through Lafayette's first 10 games, but Ntaconayigize can also score the ball, averaging 7.3 points per outing.Both Leopards average 25 minutes or better per contest.Â
FRESH FACES
   The Leopards added four newcomers in the offseason. Junior forward
Mingaile Urmuleviciute joined the program after leaving UNC Wilmington and sophomore sharp shooter
Rosie Scognamiglio comes from Patriot League foe Bucknell. In addition to the transfers, Coach Damon-Olson recruited twoÂ
freshmen.
Talia Zurinskas is a 5-7 guard from Parkland High School in Allentown, Pa. and 6-2 forward
Jordyn Mays hails from William B. Travis in Richmond, Texas.Â
NEW STAFF
   Coach Damon-Olson hired two new assistant coaches during the offseason.
Jamarra Robinson joined the staff in July after previously serving as head coach at Indian River State College.
Lauren Hammersley is also new to College Hill this year and she'll double as an assistant coach and the program's director of operations.
RECENT RENOVATIONS
   Kirby Sports Center, the Leopards' home arena, has seen major upgrades over the past year. A state-of-the art Daktronics control and video display system can now be seen above center court, showcasing promotional team videos and updated branding to enhance the fan experience. By featuring Daktronics' latest version of Show and Venus Control Suite, it allows Lafayette to expand on in-game presentations.
EXCELLENCE IN ACADEMICS
   Lafayette's athletic programs stood out among the nation's best last fall in the NCAA's Division I annual Graduation Success Rate (GSR) release. College Hill claimed a 97 percent GSR overall for the second straight year based on the 19 sports measured while 16 Leopard teams, including women's basketball, achieved a graduation success rate of 100 percent.
