Women’s Basketball Announces 2024-25 Schedule

Leopards open season at Boston College on Nov. 4 and host Notre Dame on Nov. 17

EASTON, Pa. – Head coach Kia Damon-Olson and the Lafayette women's basketball team have released their 2024-25 schedule, beginning action on Nov. 4 at Boston College.

"We're thrilled to announce this year's schedule, which promises to be exciting and competitive. Our team will face a variety of strong opponents, giving us the chance to test ourselves against diverse styles of play," Damon-Olson said. "These early-season matchups are crucial in helping us prepare for the challenges of the Patriot League, where every game is a battle. We can't wait to compete and represent our program with pride as we gear up for what we know will be an incredible season."

The Leopards' first home game inside Kirby Sports Center is on Nov. 9 as they invite Saint Francis to Easton.

The remainder of the non-conference schedule features four home games including a matchup with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Nov. 17.

Lafayette's Patriot League slate begins with a road test at Boston U. on Jan. 2 before hosting Navy just three days later (Jan. 5).

The middle of January is highlighted with two home games, one against Army (1/15) and the other versus Loyola (1/22). The Maroon and White then take a two-game road trip where they will travel to Bethlehem for a matchup with archrival Lehigh (1/25) and to Washington D.C. to face American on Jan. 29.

February begins with a home contest against Colgate on Feb. 1. The team's gears then shift a week later as it travels to Annapolis, Md. for a matchup against the Mids (Feb. 8).

The Rivalry continues on Feb. 22 when Lehigh takes the drive to College Hill for the team's second meeting of the campaign.

Damon-Olson and her squad conclude the regular season with a trip to Baltimore, Md. on Mar. 5 to face Loyola.

The Leopards return eight members from last season, including three starters. Senior guard Abby Antognoli returns for her final season, after being named to the All-Patriot League Third Team last season. The Bay Head, N.J. native was also selected to the CSC Academic All-District Team and to the Academic All-Patriot League Team last season.

Individual non-conference tickets go on sale on Oct. 1 at 7 a.m. Tickets for Patriot League contests will follow.
