SCOUTING AMERICAN
   The Eagles finished their non-conference slate with a 0-11 record and lost their last league game 85-43 at Colgate (1/25), their eighth-straight Patriot League loss.  American sits at 10th place in the conference and head coach Tiffany Coll is in her third season at the helm.
   Wednesday marks the 58th meeting, between the Leopards and Eagles after the Maroon and White swept the season series in 2024.
   Cecilia Kay, Laura Nogues, Madisyn Moore-Nicholson and Bailey Garbee all dropped in seven points at Colgate, combining for 28 points. Kay leads American in scoring (10.9 ppg) and Nogues is second on the team in points (7.9). Kay ranks 12th in the Patriot League in scoring, second in blocked shots (1.5 bpg) and third in rebounds (8.4 rpg). Nogues is eighth in the Patriot League in assists (2.9 apg) and 25th in steals (1.1 spg).
   American shot 28.1 percent from the floor, 26.7 percent from beyond the arc and 38.9 percent from the charity stripe in its defeat at Colgate.  American ranks second in the conference in rebounding (36.2 rpg) and third in defensive rebounding, grabbing 25.7 boards per game.
LAST TIME OUT
   Lafayette made its way to Stabler Arena on Jan. 25 for a 4:30 p.m. matchup against rival Lehigh, resulting in a 73-51 defeat. Guards

DAZZLING DONAHUE
   Junior guard
Kay Donahue is averaging 10.1 points per game, a team-high 4.7 rebounds per game and 1.7 assists per outing. In the team's games against No. 6 Notre Dame and NJIT, the Belle Mead, N.J. native notched a career high of 18 points and drained eight field goals against the Irish. Donahue's point and rebound averages rank her 18th and 16th amongst her Patriot League foes, respectively.Â

   Lafayette returns to College Hill at 2 p.m. on Saturday as it prepares to for its National Women and Girls in Sports Day Game versus Colgate.
SCHOOL DAY GAME
   On Jan. 15 Lafayette women's basketball hosted its fifth-annual School Day Game. More than 1,100 fifth and sixth grade students from the Easton Area School District came to Kirby Sports Center for a day of fun and to support the Leopards take on Army.
ANTOGNOLI AVERAGES
   On her way to her second consecutive All-Patriot League Third-Team selection, senior guard
Abby Antognoli was a focal point of the Leopards' offense last season. The Economics major averages 12.9 ppg, 4.5 rpg and 3.8 apg and is ranked third in the conference in assists and eighth in scoring.

   Junior guards
Kay Donahue and
Sauda Ntaconayigize have been constant threats from all over the floor this season, shooting 40.2 and 40.5 percent respectively. Donahue has been a main option on offense through Lafayette's first 19 games, but Ntaconayigize can also score the ball, averaging 7.9 points per outing. Both Leopards average 25 minutes or better per contest.
1,000-POINT SCORER
   Program history was made on Dec. 1 in the team's game at Monmouth, as senior guard
Abby Antognoli eclipsed the 1,000 career points milestone with her fifth field goal (in the fourth quarter).

Tasha Chudy have been the mainstays in the lineup for the majority of the season. Chudy got her first career starting nod versus St. Francis and has started every game since. Donahue broke into Damon-Olson's lineup against Notre Dame (11/17) and finished the day with a career-high 18 points versus the nationally-ranked foe.Â
UPCOMING PROMOTIONS
   To kickoff February, the Leopards welcome Colgate to Easton for their Play4Kay/National Women and Girls in Sports game on Feb. 1. On Feb. 12,  American comes to town for Lafayette's Pride Game and Feb. 22 is Alumni Day versus Lehigh. Senior Day will take place on Mar. 1 against Boston U.Â
EXCELLENCE IN ACADEMICS
   Lafayette's athletic programs stood out among the nation's best last fall in the NCAA's Division I annual Graduation Success Rate (GSR) release. College Hill claimed a 97 percent GSR overall for the second straight year based on the 19 sports measured while 16 Leopard teams, including women's basketball, achieved a graduation success rate of 100 percent.
