EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette field hockey's
Katie Gibb and
Stella Malinowski were selected to the Canadian Junior Women's National Team roster for the upcoming 2025 FIH Hockey Women's Junior World Cup.
The tournament, taking place from Dec. 1-13 in Santiago, Chile, will feature 24 under-21 national teams. Canada will play in Pool E alongside Australia, Spain and Scotland, looking to grow from back-to-back World Cup qualifications and improve on the previous 16th-place finish in 2022.
Eighteen players, involved in 13 different clubs and universities, were named to the team Canada roster with Gibb as one of three returners from the 2023 list.

The Leopards are currently 9-5 (4-1 PL) and have three remaining regular season games prior to the start of the Patriot League Tournament on Nov. 6.
Next up, Lafayette travels to Boston U. on Friday for a 4 p.m. start.
