EASTON, Pa. – Junior
Catherine Apker has been named as the Patriot League Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Apker secured her second Goalkeeper of the Week honor of the 2025 season after being selected three times in 2024, while also being a Second-Team All-Patriot League selection. Apker started in goal for the Leopards and played the full 90 minutes in Lafayette's 2-0 win at Navy on Saturday. The Mathematics and Economics major tied a career-high in saves against the Mids with 10, along with recording the 13
th shutout of her career.
The Homer, N.Y. native has amassed five shutouts this season, which is second in the Patriot League, along with a .792 save percentage. Apker ranks third in the league in saves per game (5.00) and is third in the league in saves (80).
The Maroon and White will close out their 2025 regular-season slate hosting rival Lehigh on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. match.
