EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette men's basketball and head coach Mike McGarvey announced the 2025-26 Patriot League schedule on Wednesday afternoon. Game action is set to kick off on Dec. 31 against Colgate with opening tip is marked for 3 p.m. on the newly refurbished Kirby Sports Center playing surface.

The last time conference play began before the new year came on Dec. 30, 2022 with the Leopards facing American at home.

In January, Lafayette will travel to Loyola on the third before returning home for Boston U. (7). Navy and Bucknell come next on the road on Jan. 10 and 14, respectively. An intermission of Holy Cross at home (17) breaks up two more away games at Boston U. (21) and Lehigh. Bucknell (26) and American (31) close out the first full month of competition.

Navy is the first opponent to visit Easton on Feb. 4. Loyola travels to College Hill on the 11th with Lehigh at home just three days later for a Valentine's Day doubleheader. American joins the fun on Feb. 21. Lafayette only has three road trips that month: Army (7), Holy Cross (18) and Colgate (25).

This season's Rivalry contests against Lehigh will take place on Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. in Stabler Arena and on February 14 at 5 p.m. in Kirby Sports Center.

The final regular season matchup is versus Army at home on Feb. 28 at at 1 p.m.

The Patriot League Tournament runs from March 3-11, with three rounds leading up to the 2026 PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Men's Basketball Championship.

The Maroon and White return nine players from last season, including four who started in 10 or more contests. Sophomore guard Caleb Williams returns for his second collegiate campaign, after being named to the Patriot League All-Rookie Team in 2024-25. The Leopards added six freshmen and one sophomore transfer to the roster for this winter.
