EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette Athletics has hired Hannah Kercher as its assistant director of facilities and operations.
Prior to coming to Easton, Kercher served as an assistant director of resident life at Clarion University, a position she held since August of 2021. While at Clarion, Kercher was responsible for overseeing all on-campus housing operations while ensuring the safety of over 500 residents. In addition to her role in housing, she began working as an intern for the Clarion athletics department in 2021. Kercher was in charge of coordinating operations for all home events, as well as handling pre-season compliance tasks.
From January 2023 to May 2024, Kercher held the title of head coach for the women's tennis team. Her duties included managing team logistics along the east coast, leading the recruitment process of the team and overseeing the team budget to guarantee fiscal accountability.Â
Kercher earned her bachelor's degree in anthropology from Drexel in 2019. She then completed her master's degree in sports science and sports management at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2024.
