Lafayette travels to Army on Saturday to start a three-game series at 12 p.m. The Black Knights won both meetings between the two teams in Easton earlier this season.
 
Patriot League Awards
Senior outfielder Easton Brenner earned Patriot League Baseball Player of the Week honors on Feb. 17. Brenner batted .700 (7-for-10) during the Leopards' series at Southern Miss. The Houston, Texas. native had five RBIs, seven hits, three doubles, a home run and he reached base 11 times in Hattiesburg. The Economics and Policy Studies major slugged 1.300 and recorded a .781 on-base percentage on the week. On April 14, freshman second baseman Alex Barrist earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors. Barrist batted. 364 with four hits, while slugging .636 during the reporting week. His swing included six RBIs along with scoring three runs. The Newtown Square, Pa. native ripped a league-best fifth triple down the right field line in Lafayette's series opener against Navy that scored two runs and propelled the Leopards to victory.
 
Record Watch
With his fourth home run of the season at Navy on April 5, Michael Zarrillo has tied the Lafayette career home run record of 22, held by current Lafayette head coach A.J. Miller and Bob Osipower.

Leading the League
Lafayette senior Easton Brenner leads the Patriot League in batting with a .388 average and also leads the league in on-base percentage at .513. The Leopards as a team are the conference leaders in batting average (.279), home runs (24), hits (343), slugging percentage (.400) and strikeouts with 299.
 
The Leopards
The Leopards are led by Easton Brenner, who is batting .388, along with three home runs and 27 RBIs. The senior has 14 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games. Sophomores Tristan Helmick and Owen Basso each have notched three wins for the Leopards and senior Mike Romano has earned four saves. The Leopards are currently in fourth place in the Patriot League standings. The Maroon and White have a 12-26 overall mark and a 8-8 record in the Patriot League.

The Black Knights
Army comes into the weekend with a 16-19 record and a 10-9 mark in the Patriot League. The Black Knights are paced by Chris Barr who is batting .312 with five triples, a home run and 24 RBIs. On the mound, Andrew Berg leads the Patriot League with a 2.92 ERA, along with sporting a 3-2 record and 47 strikeouts in 49.1 innings pitched.
