EASTON, Pa. - Senior Mary Grace O'Neill was selected as a member of the 2025 Academic All-Patriot League Softball Team, announced on Wednesday.

The Pleasantville, N.Y. native majors in Economics and has a 3.54 cumulative GPA, in addition to holding a certificate in Financial Policy and Analysis. O'Neill was chosen along with 11 other Patriot League softball players after excelling both on and off the field.

To be eligible for the Academic All-Patriot League, student-athletes must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and appear in 50 percent of their respective team's competitions.

On Tuesday, the senior was tabbed for the All-Patriot League First Team for her accomplishments this season. O'Neill's .423 batting average ranked second in the conference and was the third highest average in Lafayette history. In addition to leading the Leopards in average, O'Neill also paced the Maroon and White with 52 hits and 11 doubles while reaching base .455 percent of the time.
