Harry Dessel turned in a 74 at the par-72, 7,093 yard Greathorse Golf Club. Dessel collected two birdies in his first round, placing him in a tie for 19th. Freshman
Viktor Kofod-Olsen, playing in his inaugural invitational as a member of the Maroon and White, landed t-42 after shooting five-over-par. Sophomore

Liam Brandt each carded 78, finishing in a tie for 56th. Both golfers remain one stroke behind Kofod-Olsen.

Harrison Browne (79), participating as an individual, recorded three birdies in his round to place in 61st with 36 holes left to play.
Currently pacing the 15-team field is Connecticut, carding an even-par 288. The hosts hold a six-stroke advantage over second-place Villanova. Holy Cross' John Scully notched three birdies and an eagle to shoot a 69, leading the invitational's 83 other golfers.
