   Lafayette sits at fourth in scoring offense (60.8 ppg) and eighth in team defense, allowing their opponents to average 64.7 ppg. Head coach

SCOUTING AMERICAN
   The Eagles concluded their non-conference schedule with a 2-9 record and dropped their last game 63-53 on the road at Loyola Md. (Jan. 28).  American posted a 1-17 record in PL play last season and an 0-12 mark outside of the conference.Â
   Saturday marks the 62nd meeting between the Leopards and Eagles in their respective histories. Lafayette holds a 7-12 record against American since head coach
Kia Damon-Olson has been at the helm. Saturday's matchup will be the first time that both teams meet this season.Â
   Looking at the Eagles' matchup with Loyola, Molly Driscoll and Madisyn Moore-Nicholson were the leaders on offense for American. Driscoll finished the outing with a game-high 20 points, four assists and rebounds on 6-12 shooting from the floor. Moore-Nicholson logged 37 minutes for the Eagles, scoring 11 points on 2-11 shooting and she dished out two assists and grabbed a board. Charlotte Tuhy and Anna Rescifina contributed valuable minutes against the Greyhounds too, with Tuhy scoring eight points on 1-6 shooting from the field and Rescifina tacked on nine points, a rebound and an assist.Â
   As a unit,  American shot 30.4 percent from the floor, 27.3 percent fromÂ
beyond the arc and 95.0 percent from the charity stripe in the loss. The Eagles rank eighth in the conference in scoring offense (55.5) ppg and ninth in defensive rating, allowing their opponents to score 64.9 points per outing.
LAST TIME OUT
   Lafayette women's basketball completed the season sweep over Bucknell (65-56) for the first time since the 2004-05 season on Wednesday at Kirby Sports Center. Guards

Sauda Ntaconayigize are all shooting 39 percent or better from downtown this season. Â Ntaconayigize leads the pack, hitting at a conference best 43.1 percent clip and Kiewiet is right behind her with 40.3 percent (4th in PL). Â Adamski is draining the deep ball at a 39.3 percent clip (6th in PL).

Teresa Kiewiet ranks second in the Patriot League in scoring, averaging 16.9 ppg. The North Mankato, Minn. native also ranks highly in rebounding (ninth), field-goal percentage (fifth) and three-point percentage (fourth).
PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Teresa Kiewiet was named the Patriot League Player of the Week in back-to-back weeks (Dec. 1 & Dec. 8) for her performances at Pitt (11/25), NJIT (11/30), FDU (12/4) and Marist (12/7). The Engineering major averaged 22.8 ppg across four games and dropped in a season-high of 25 points and five triples for 55.6 percent shooting from deep.Â

Maddison Krug has seen an increased role due to a recent Chudy injury and the North Kingstown, R.I. native will now be relied on heavily as conference play continues.

Haylie Adamski ranks sixth in the PL in three-point percentage (40.4 percent) and averages 10.8 ppg, 2.8 rpg and 1.2 spg in her first season in Easton. The Economics major has been named a PL Honorable Mention six times.
UPCOMING PROMOTIONS
   Army visits Kirby Sports Center on Feb. 7 for the team's Play4Kay Game and Valentine's Day serves as Alumni Day/Senior Day. The final promotional game of the year is the Leopards' Athlete Ally Game (Feb. 18) vs. Holy Cross.

EXCELLENCE IN ACADEMICS
   Lafayette's athletic programs stood out among the nation's best this fall in the NCAA's Division I annual Graduation Success Rate (GSR) release. College Hill claimed a 97 percent GSR overall for the third straight year based on the 19 sports measured while 16 Leopard teams, including women's basketball, achieved a graduation success rate of 100 percent.
2024-25 RECAP
   The 2024-25 season highlighted various notable achievements. Lafayette posted its best season to date in three-point field goals made, draining 190 attempts in 31 games. It also marked the second-highest season threes attempted (559) and the fifth best team three-point field-goal percentage (34.0 percent).
