EASTON, Pa. - Nick Faccone's performance against Drexel and Mount St. Mary's earned him Patriot League Faceoff Specialist of the Week, announced on Monday. This is the second time this season Faccone has received weekly honors.

In two games, the neuroscience major won 26 of his 35 attempts (74.3 win percentage) at the X while scooping up 11 ground balls. Against Drexel, the junior was 12-19 on faceoff opportunities, adding in five ground balls. Faccone was dominant against Mount St. Mary's, as he won 14 of his 16 duels, picking up six ground balls in the process.

Faccone has won 67.3 percent of his faceoffs, which places him first in the conference and eighth nationwide. The Warren, N.J. native also ranks second in the Patriot League and 13th nationally with 7.60 ground balls per game.

Lafayette remains at Fisher Stadium on Saturday, hosting St. John's for a 4 p.m. contest.
