EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette women's cross country program took down the Mountain Hawks in its first home meet of the 2026 season. Juniors Anya Kazemi and Kendall Collier led the way for the Leopards for the second meet in a row, securing second and fourth-place finishes, respectively.
For the women, Kazemi claimed second with a final time of 21:44.60. Collier followed shortly after at 21:58.90 for a fourth place finish. Rounding out Lafayette's top five finishers were senior Ava Severino in sixth (22:28.20), freshman Grace Houlihan in seventh (22:33.30) and sophomore Zoe Cimo in ninth (22:42.30).
On the men's side, freshman Hudson Schunk placed fifth with a final time of 25:27.50. Junior Cole Scattergood finished ninth, finishing in 25:46.80. The Leopards' top five finishers also included junior David Whitford (26:01.90), junior Alec Miner (26:08.7) and freshman Brandon Williams (26:15.10).
Kaitlyn Highduch and Ryan Baker of Lehigh enjoyed the individual victories with the men's team claiming the overall team victory.
Lafayette returns to College Hill to host Lehigh in a rivalry dual meet on Friday, Sept. 25 at 5:30 p.m.
