EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette defense could not match Penn's first half offensive pressure, falling 14-1 in women's lacrosse action on Friday afternoon at Rappolt Field.
Penn opened the scoring at 2:32 into the contest when senior Chrissy Book beat Leopard freshman netminder Tracey Williams (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) for a 1-0 advantage.
Lafayette struck back when junior attacker Jennifer Stone (Newtown, Pa./George School) corralled a pass from thirty yards out and beat her defender and Penn goalie Alaina Harper to knot the score at 1-1.
