Playing in her final game in the Maroon and White, senior midfielder Amanda Eggleston came up with Lafayette's lone goal late in the action to prevent the shutout.

Trailing 1-0 coming out of the half, Lafayette allowed American's second goal just 41 seconds into the session. Taking a crisp pass from Infante, rookie Irene Schickhardt beat her defender and fired the ball past Lafayette keeper Jill Lambert to make it 2-0.
With the game still within reach for the Leopards, American exploded for three goals in less than four minutes midway through the second half to put the contest away. Schickhardt registered her second of the game, while senior Javiera Villagra came through with back-to-back scores, giving her Eagles a 5-0 advantage.
With just over five minutes to go, Eggleston went on a breakaway midfield and lofted the ball over American goalkeeper Makinsie Sheridan for her fifth goal of the season.
