EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette's games in the 2007 Patriot League Baseball Tournament will be televised by the Lafayette Sports Network (LSN) and CSTV (College Sports Television). It will mark the third time in the last four years the Lafayette Sports Network has covered the Patriot League Baseball Tournament.
The top-seeded Leopards will face either No. 2 seed Army or No. 3 seed Navy in the three-game Patriot League Championship Series on Saturday and Sunday.
Game one of the Patriot League Championship Series will be played on Saturday at approximately 3 p.m. and aired Saturday night at 7 p.m. on RCN-4 and RCN-8 and at GoLeopards.com. Game two will be broadcasted live on both RCN and LSN All-Access on Sunday, with first pitch scheduled for noon. Game three, if necessary, will air live 30 minutes after the conclusion of game two.
CSTV will re-broadcast games one and game two on Wednesday, May 16, at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively. Game three, if needed, would be shown at a time to be determined.
Veteran broadcaster Gary Laubach will handle play-by-play duties while John Leone will serve as the analyst. Dan Mowdy and Scott Barr will split field reporting duties.
Sunday's game(s) will also be available on SIRIUS radio on channel 122.
The Leopards earned the top spot in the Patriot League Tournament after posting a 17-3 mark in league play and recording the most wins in program history (30).
Army (23-21-1, 12-7) will take on rival Navy (35-19, 12-8) in the play-in game scheduled at noon on Saturday for the right to face Lafayette in the best-of-three championship series.
