EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette baseball team earned three Academic All-Patriot League selections on Thursday morning. Senior pitcher

Matt Colella collected the honors. The Leopards lead the Patriot League with three selections.
Reese made a team-high 19 appearances on the mound for the Maroon and White, throwing 20.2 innings. The Mequon, Wis. native earned a win against Manhattan. The senior recorded 14 strikeouts in 2026. Reese maintains a 3.81 grade-point average with a major in Economics and Policy Studies.
Doubek carries a 3.39 GPA in Integrative Engineering and was fifth in the league in batting with a .308 average. The Maplewood, N.J. native smacked a team-best nine home runs and drove in 34 runs on 41 hits, while scoring 22 runs. Doubek had 10 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI games and was named to the 2025 All-Patriot League First Team.
Colella, who carries a 3.61 GPA in Economics, batted .293 in 2026, with four home runs, seven doubles, 32 RBIs, 22 runs scored and six multi-RBI games. The Clifton, Va. native had a team-best 15 multi-hit games and 49 hits.
