EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette baseball team earned two All-Patriot League selections on Wednesday afternoon.
Junior catcher
Brandon Doubek was named to the First Team and junior pitcher
Owen Basso garnered Second-Team honors.
Doubek was fifth in the league in batting with a .308 average. The Maplewood, N.J. native blasted a team-best nine home runs, along with having 41 hits, 34 RBIs, five doubles and scoring 41 runs. The Integrative Engineering major had 10 multi-hit games and a team-leading 11 multi-RBI games.Â
Basso was tied for fourth in the Patriot League with two saves. The Silver Spring, Md. native earned a win against Holy Cross. Basso appeared in 17 contests in 2026, exclusively out of the bullpen. The Economics major and had a 4.81 ERA in 33.2 innings pitched, along with 32 strikeouts.
