Women's Lacrosse to Conduct Fall Clinic Series

Oct. 21, 2008

EASTON, Pa. - For the first time in program history, the women's lacrosse team will be hosting a two-part clinic for high school teams on Nov. 1 and Nov. 8 at Lafayette's Rappolt Field. The clinics are designed to develop and improve players' individual techniques and reinforce how their skills fit into the fundamental concepts of team play.

During both sessions, teams will receive instruction from the Lafayette coaching staff, including head coach Alison Fisher, a 2001 graduate of Lafayette, and assistant coaches Jordan Ellis and Samantha Ziegler '06. Instruction will include various aspects of offense, defense and transitional play. Teams will have the opportunity to compete against each other in a round-robin tournament that spans the two Saturday sessions.

The clinics are open to all high school teams as well as individual players. Registration is limited to 10 teams on a first come, first serve basis. The cost is $500 per team or $75 per individual. For more information and to access the registration forms, please visit the women's lacrosse page on goleopards.com.
