"It is tough to lose after being up at half time, but we played a strong game overall for our first run of the season," said head coach Andrew Griffiths after the game. "Wake Forest is always a very good team, and we competed well today. Our work ethic was good and we created a number of scoring opportunities. Overall I am pleased with the effort, if not the result."
The Leopards will make a quick turn-around as they take on Davidson tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. in Winston-Salem, N.C.
