The men's and women's cross country team opened the 2010 season at the Lehigh Invitational on Friday night at the Murray Goodman Campus in Bethlehem, Pa. The women's team finished third overall with 72 points behind Lehigh (45 points) and winner Navy (37).

The men's team finished in the middle of the pack at fourth with 101 points. The Lehigh men picked up the win with 25 points, followed by Rider (72) and Muhlenberg (89).

The women's team was led by co-captains Sarah Welsh-Huggins, with a time of 22:36.2, while senior Margaret Bruno-Metzgar clocked a second later at 22:37.9.

Senior Ryan Stasiowski set the pace for the men coming in fourth with a time of 18:48.8. Rounding out the top-20 was Josh Sadlock clocking in at 19:39.6.

The Leopards are back in action on Sept. 15 when they compete against Lehigh at Metzger Fields.
