Eight Leopards end fall semester with 4.0 GPAs

EASTON, Pa. – The men's and women's cross country teams each earned All-Academic honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

To qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, and compile a team score at their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.

The women's team had a cumulative GPA of 3.75 with 23 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll nominations and the men had a 3.15 GPA with five nominations. Katherine Asher, Alivia Bear, Hazel Calway, Zoe Cimo, Kendall Collier, Alexa D'Agosta, Kira Marr and Maeve McNamee contributed to the All-Academic team honors for the women with perfect 4.0 GPAs for the fall semester.

The Leopards not only had strong academic performances in the fall, but they had strong athletic performances throughout the season as well. The women's team took home sixth overall at the Patriot League Championships, while the men finished ninth.
