EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette men's and women's cross country teams put on a solid showing at the Patriot League Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon at Metzgar.

The women got things started with a 6K race, where sophomore Emily Moore crossed first for the Leopards at 22:21.1, which was good for a top 20 finish.

Junior Katherine Millar was behind Moore, placing 63rd with a time of 23:43.3. Millar has improved her time every race this season at Metzgar. She bested her previous top time, which came at the Leopard Invitational two weeks ago, by five seconds.

In the men's 8K, sophomore David Sadvary finished with the top time for the Leopards at 27:39.0. He was followed by freshman Nate Becker (28:21.9) and junior Tyler Pressl (28:23.2).
