EASTON, Pa. – Ronnie Regula, who has spent time on the coaching staffs at the University of Miami, Florida International and most recently UNLV, has joined the Lafayette football coaching staff as the tight ends/fullbacks coach.
Regula worked the last two seasons at UNLV under head coach Tony Sanchez as a defensive graduate assistant in 2018 and an offensive graduate assistant in 2017.

A native of Miami, Florida, Regula served in a similar role at Florida International in 2015-16, working as an offensive graduate assistant and offensive quality control coach. While there, he earned his master's degree in Recreation and Sport Management.
Regula's collegiate playing career began at Mount Saint Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio before he transferred to the University of Miami. He went on to earn a pair of letters for the Hurricanes on special teams and as an H-back. In 2015, he earned his bachelor of science degree in Sports Administration with a minor in Business Management. Upon graduation, Regula spent one semester as an intern with the football staff at his alma mater.
Regula replaces
Christian Pace who was promoted to offensive line coach in December 2018.
Lafayette is slated to get back to the practice field on March 25 to begin the 15-practice spring season which concludes with the annual Maroon-White game on April 20.
