- The Lafayette women's lacrosse team seeks its first win in Patriot League play on Wednesday night, making the trip to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania for a road clash with Bucknell. The Leopards dropped their conference home opener on March 16 to Holy Cross by an 11-10 score and fell at Boston U. this past weekend, 18-8.
- Despite the season-long three-game slide, senior
Jane Kirby and sophomore
Quinn Lacy continue to produce with noticeable spots in the national rankings in a number of categories. Lacy is third in save percentage at .535 and ninth in saves per game with 11.50 per contest, while Kirby still remains the top free-position shooter in the country with 2.38 eight-meter goals per outing.
- Four different Leopards are within striking distance of significant statistical milestones over the next few games. Senior
Hannah Davey is 23 draw controls away from 200 for her career and 24 goals from the 100 mark. Kirby and classmate
Emma Novick are both close to the 150 career-goal feat, entering Wednesday at 142 and 145, respectively. Additionally, Lacy is just 82 saves away from 300 over her first two seasons, a mark that would leave her close to on pace for a top-10 spot all-time in the Patriot League record books.
