OPENING TIP
- The Leopards will play their final game in Kirby Sports Center in 2018-19 as Colgate comes to close out the regular season.
 
- Sophomore Natalie Kucowski bested her freshman year total and reset the Lafayette single-season rebounds record with 314 and counting last time out at Lehigh.
 
- Sophomore Drew Freeland had a game-high 14 points in the loss at Lehigh with six rebounds and two assists, knocking down a pair of 3-pointers.
 
- Lafayette has won three of its last four first-round tournament contests, including 2016-17 as the 10 seed.
 
- The Patriot League Tournament begins Saturday and Lafayette is slated to travel to Army for a first round matchup with the Black Knights.
 
Scouting Colgate
The Raiders have won two of their last three games, coming off a 13-point loss at Holy Cross on Saturday.
 
Colgate has clinched the sixth seed in the Patriot League Tournament, earning a first-round bye.
 
Rachel Thompson is a top-10 scorer in the conference, averaging 12.7 ppg and pulls in 7.1 rpg. She is the conference's most efficient scorer at 49 percent from the field.
 
Summer King scores 8.2 ppg to rank second on the team while Keelah Dixon averages 7.8.
 
In his third season, Colgate is led by head coach Bill Cleary.
 
All-Time series
The matchup dates back to the 1976-77 season with the Leopards holding a 37-35 advantage overall. 
 
The teams split last year's meetings, winning on their home floors. 
 
Last Meeting
Colgate filled its gym with kids and jumped out in front of a morning tip-off and never looked back, shooting over 60 percent in the second and third quarters to win, 60-49.
 
Rebounding Crown
Last time out, sophomore Natalie Kucowski reset the Lafayette single-season rebounds record, besting her freshman year total of 309.
 
Currently, she is sitting at 314 rebounds in 2018-19 with two games to play and is the only player in Lafayette history to have two 300-plus rebound seasons. 
 
Century-Mark Rejections
Kucowski recorded two blocked shots at Navy for 100 rejections in her Lafayette career. She is just the fifth Leopard ever to compile 100-plus blocks in her College Hill career. At Boston U., she matched her career high with six blocks.
 
Century-Mark Games
Senior Alex Cantwell played her 100th career game at Navy donning the Maroon and White. She is the 53rd player in program history to join the 100-games played club, joining her mother, Theresa O'Connell, who played 113 games for Lafayette.
 
It's [Almost] Tournament Time
The Leopards are no strangers to the first round of the Patriot League Tournament and  have won three of their last four first-round games come tourney time. They also hold a victory as the 10-seed when they went into Holy Cross and knocked off the Crusaders in 2016-17.
 
Hey Nia!
Senior guard Nia Holland made her first appearance of the season against American, getting the starting nod on Senior Day. It was her first appearance since the 2017-18 season came to a close at American in the Patriot League Tournament. 
 
Block Party
Kucowski leads the Patriot League in total blocked shots (66) and blocked shots per game (2.4) by nearly 10 and 1.0 respectively. She has tallied 19 blocks in her last five outings.
 
A Long Distance Battle
Sophomore Drew Freeland hit a pair of 3-pointers at Lehigh and is in 14th on the Lafayette career 3-point field goals list with 64 behind Sara Harris '00 who hit 66 in her career.  Classmate Olivia Martino is close behind in 15th with 61 in the Maroon and White.
