Start of Boston U. Series Moved to 2 p.m.

Lafayette will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday

SCHEDULE UPDATE
Due to overnight rain and continued precipitation, that start time of Saturday's doubleheader has been moved to 2 p.m.

Match-Up
Lafayette hosts Boston U. (25-17, 8-1) in a three-game Patriot League series. Coming off a Wednesday doubleheader sweep of UMass-Lowell, the Terriers have won five straight games and 12 of their last 14.

Class of 2019
On Saturday, Lafayette will honor seniors Stacy Gordon, Ellen McDonell, Brooke Wensel and Maddie Wensel prior to game one. 

Last Time Out
Soph. Paige Grover went 3-for-4 with three doubles as Lafayette topped Monmouth 7-2 in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader. Stacy Gordon held Monmouth to pair of runs on seven hits with six strikeouts and a walk. It was a bounce-back win for the Leopards who dropped game one, 9-0, after being held to three hits by Monmouth starter Alyssa Irons. 

Wensels' Numbers
Senior SS Brooke Wensel ranks sixth at Lafayette in career home runs (10) and is 10th in career hits (142), runs scored (76) and games played (171). Brooke and fellow senior Maddie Wensel are tied for 10th in career doubles (26).    

Captains
Seniors Brooke Wensel and Ellen McDonnell are holding the leadership reins for 2019. Wensel is a two-time All-Patriot League selection and was the 2017 Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year.

Lafayette takes a mid-week break from conference action, heading to Fairleigh Dickinson for a Wednesday doubleheader at 3 p.m. Patriot League play continues at Colgate on April 27-28.
