The Leopards scored their lone run in the bottom of the first.

Gordon took the loss, allowing eight runs on seven hits in 1.2 innings. Ali DuBois collected the circle win, surrendering one run on three hits over four innings.

Game two was more of a pitchers' duel through the opening innings between Leopard starter
Kinzi Van Wyk and BU hurler Emily Gant. The game was scoreless through three innings.

In the top of the fourth, BU's No. 9 hitter, Nicole Amodio broke through with a three-run home run with two outs in the inning.

The Leopards had their best offensive opportunity in the bottom of the frame, loading the bases via singles by
Maddie Wensel,
Erin Scott and
Hannah Lee, but emerged without any runs as Gant struck out McDonnell to end the inning.

Boston U. added two more runs in the sixth inning when Van Wyk walked in one and another scored on a fielder's choice. McDonnell ended the inning with a catch at the fence down the third-base line in foul territory to end the rally. The Terriers added two more runs in the sixth.

Van Wyk allowed seven runs on nine hits over seven innings in the loss. Gant struck out nine in the win, scattering five hits.
