Leckie's Electric
After missing the majority of 2018 to injury, senior Dan Leckie is back with a vengeance and currently on an eight-game hitting streak, with five multi-hit games in the span. After a slow start to the season, Leckie has raised his average nearly 100 points during the streak.

Freshman Sensation
Freshman Justin Johnson is the first rookie Leopard to start in the first 26 games of the season since 2008, when Rob Froio made 26-consecutive starts.

Froio went on to become the program's leader in career hits (230) and at-bats (741) in his time on College Hill.

Road Warriors
Lafayette opened the season playing 22 games away from home before finally getting to play a home game on March 30. Only three teams in the country played more road games to open the season with the leader being Western Michigan at 31 games.

Craska's A Savior
Freshman Frank Craska impressed early on in his career on College Hill, striking out the side in his first appearance out of the Lafayette bullpen. Since then, he is 3-for-3 in save situations with two in Liberty Bell Classic games.

Century Mark Hits
In the series finale at Lehigh, senior Dan Leckie collected his 100th career hit and currently sits at 111 to lead the Leopards while classmate Spencer Rouse is just one shy of the century mark at 99.

Looking for Back-to-Back Bells
The Leopards are looking to defend their 2018 Liberty Bell Classic championship, returning to Citizens Bank Park for the second straight season on April 23 for a rematch with the University of Delaware after defeating the Blue Hens, 9-4, a season ago.

Lafayette defeated St. Joseph's on March 26, 3-1, in the quarterfinals and Villanova in the semifinal on Tuesday, 8-6. The Maroon and White won the event in 2007 and 2008 and would be the first team to repeat since those two championships.

Born a Leopard
Junior outfielder Trey Durrah has been a part of the Lafayette baseball program for nearly his entire life. Durrah is the son of former pitching coach and current director of operations Gregg Durrah and served as the Leopards' bat boy in the early 2000s.

An even twenty
Head coach Joe Kinney is in his 20th season at the helm, making him the second-longest tenured head coach in the Patriot League. Former pitching coach and current director of baseball operations, Gregg Durrah, has been on Kinney's staff for each of the 20 years.

Captains by Committee
Lafayette is going with positional captains in 2019. Leading the catchers is junior Drew Jansen, the infielders is senior Spencer Rouse, the outfielders have senior Dan Leckie.  The pitchers are represented by seniors David Giusti, Kyle Johnson and Connor Jones.
