Women's Lacrosse Looks for Back-to-Back League Wins

Leopards return to conference play Saturday at Army

- The Lafayette women's lacrosse team returns to conference play on Saturday afternoon, eyeing back-to-back Patriot League victories to keep postseason hopes alive at Army with opening draw set for 3 p.m.

- The Black Knights enter Saturday's tilt with a 9-3 overall record and a 2-2 mark in conference play. In Patriot League action, Army has taken down Lehigh and Holy Cross by 15-13 and 19-13 scores, respectively, in the last two outings following losses to Loyola and American to open the conference slate.

- Lafayette dropped a midweek battle at LIU-Brooklyn, but defeated American in its last Patriot League outing, a 15-11 victory on March 30. Senior co-captain Emma Novick led the Leopards in scoring with four goals and an assist, including her 150th career tally, while junior Jen Rowan picked up her first career hat trick in the win.

- Following Saturday's tilt, the Leopards will have four games remaining on the regular season slate, all in-conference. The Maroon and White host Loyola and Lehigh in back-to-back matchups at Fisher Stadium on April 13 and April 17, before finishing the year at Navy on April 20 and home against Colgate on April 26.
