EASTON, Pa. – John Cain '18 has signed a free agent deal with the Los Angeles Angels. The 6-10 lefty pitched three seasons for the Leopards before playing a graduate transfer year at Manhattan College in 2019 when he was 9-4 with 96 strikeouts in 2019.
 
Cain graduated with a Lafayette degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2018 and is working toward his master's degree in the same discipline at Manhattan. The Middletown, New York native has been assigned to rookie ball, playing with Arizona League Angels in Tempe, Arizona.
